The flying taxi enterprise Lilium has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the U.S.-based aviation services provider Atlantic Aviation to “ensure seamless integration between the Lilium Jet and Atlantic’s aviation infrastructure across North America.”

Atlantic Aviation oversees operations at over 30 airports within Lilium’s targeted launch markets spanning Florida, Southern California, the Northeastern United States, and Texas.

Back in January 2019, the company had disclosed plans to install charging stations for electric aircraft at all its locations, collaborating then with VTOL startups such as Joby Aviation and Archer. This freshly forged agreement aims to align both entities’ infrastructure and enhance the consistency of passenger experience.

Lilium specifies that their joint strategic blueprint encompasses various facets including flight routes, charging capabilities, passenger amenities, operational projections, and more.

This comprehensive approach endeavors to provide Lilium Jet operators access to key points within Atlantic’s aviation network, working towards optimizing passenger satisfaction and catalyzing a new era in air travel.
